The Old Aloe House is set on the quiet side of Aruba in a neighborhood on a hill overlooking Aruba’s original capital city of Savaneta.

Driving times to popular locations:

Baby Beach - 17 minutes (6 miles)

Oranjestad (Aruba’s capital city) - 13 minutes (6 miles)

Eagle Beach - 25 minutes (11 miles)

Palm Beach - 27 minutes (15 miles)
Directions:
We recommend downloading Google maps before you leave home. Then at the airport in Aruba connect to WIFI and input Old Aloe House Aruba in Savaneta as the address for directions from the airport. Have the directions ready to go and your phone’s GPS will navigate you to the house even after you disconnect from WIFI. Google maps will take you to most of the attractions and restaurants on the island. 

If for some reason Google maps doesn’t work please follow these directions: From the airport enter the roundabout with flags flying and immediately take the first exit to the right toward San Nicholas. Follow this road with the ocean in the distance on your right, for approximately 6 miles. You will pass through the Spaans Lagoon Bridge on the way. As you enter the town of Savaneta there is a sign indicating that you have entered the town but the La Granja Restaurant is also on the right.
Once you have passed the main town area and the Do It Center on the left start looking for Aruba Alliance Church, also on the left. Turn left at that church.
Follow the road up the hill for approximately 0.3 miles. Toward the top of the hill you will reach a fork in the road where the traffic coming from the left has the right of way, yield to any traffic and join the road heading to the right. Just around the corner on the left you will see Josey’s Bar. Our house is the brightest yellow house on the left with SA34 on the front. Enjoy the quiet side of Aruba!
