Very peaceful and friendly neighbors. The house has all the amenities required and the host has provided more than ample linen and towels. We also appreciated the water and drinks left in the fridge on our arrival. Mari-Elena was proactive at all times during our stay and ensured we had everything required. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone wishing to visit this extremely friendly island. So sad to leave, but will be returning. ππππππππππ

Like living in your own house with all the commodities - The house is a very beautiful restored old Aruban house with modern facilities in a quiet and safe living area. We were welcomed with cold beer in the fridge, a selection of lotions. Even soap for the dishwashing and for washing our cloths is provided There is a fully equiped kitchen so we could cook or bake everthing, but there is also a good meal delivery service nextdoor. The 2 bedrooms and main area have airconditioning, but we preferred to open all windows in the kitchen and dining area and to sit outside in the evening. You need a car for this house and to explore Aruba. Parkingspace is in the back of the house.. We felt very at home, like we were living on the Island. I would like to stay in this house on my next visit to Aruba.

Thanks for having us over in your beautiful Aloe House and for all the help and answers to our questions!

The Old Aloe House is the perfect house in Aruba! It's within walking distance to Zeerover. You can also take a nice stroll to the pier and sit by the water for a picnic. It's near a new grocery store that has affordable prices than driving to the tourist side of things. The neighborhood is really quiet and quaint. You will rest a lot! The house also comes with a lot of gear - like beach chairs and snorkeling gear so you wont have to rent it. I enjoyed having a private space to retreat to and not be in the hustle and bustle of everything. Also the island is small so it's not hard to move around!

Really enjoyed my stay at the Old Aloe House. Quiet and safe neighborhood. House was very clean and everything was in working order. Loved exploring this part of Aruba, far from the crowded tourist areas.

This house has everything you need and more. You will have never to worry where you park your vehicle. It is very close to Baby Beach and you can make your own breakfast before heading out. It is a very quiet neighborhood. I am very happy staying in the property and I will rent it again and tell my friends about this house.

Mari-Elenaβs house is greatly organized and offers all you will need to relax, enjoy sea, sand and sun in Aruba. It is well placed for easy access to Boca Grandi, with some close coffee or smoothies shop (with a quick car ride) and the great fish restaurant Zeerovers.

We loved everything about staying in the Old Aloe House. It was very clean, plenty of towels provided, there was a washing machine and a dryer, air conditioning available in the main part of the house working well. The kitchen is very well supplied; the furniture is clean and comfortable. The location in Savaneta is safe and very convenient to those who are interested to be away from noise and busy city life. The occasional donkey or rooster made up for the alarm clock in the morning. Our contact person β Ms. Mari-Elena β is very kind and helpful and never misses any reply or direction asked for. Moreover, she made an entire book with necessary information, directions and advice, placed at hand, on the desk in the main room. She advised us to rent a car from the very beginning so we considered everything really easy to reach while taking advantage of a more remote location. The owners were very accommodating and Mari-Elena, our contact, never missed a beat. Aruba is a wonderful island with great scenic views from every part of the island. We have no complaints and definitely weβll travel back.

Charming home in Aruba - If you are looking for a delightful stay outside of the hotel zone hubbub, may I suggest the old Aloe House in the quiet town of Savaneta. There is a super cool snorkeling beach minutes away from the house called Mangel Halto, very uncrowded and lots of fish. You can walk through mangroves to access the ocean in many places. One of our favorite places to snorkel. And The Aloe House owners provide fresh and clean mask, fins and snorkel! There are fancy restaurants nearby (Flying Fishbone) , inexpensive, local eats (La Granga) and a do not miss local pub called Josies. The house is very clean and all the amenties are there including sunscreen, fluffy towels and a cute kitchen to use for less exp. meals. Plenty of local grocery stores nearby.. Laundry facilities next to the back patio. I didn't even have to buy laundry soap! There is a very large enclosed back patio where you can learn tp play a wicked game of Cornhole. I brought my adult children, but I think younger kids would be quite safe in the house and back patio and I spyed a highchair in the corner of the dining area. There are two bedrooms, the first has two, single beds and the second a twin or maybe queen? I don't know, I slept on the hidabed in the living room and was perfectly comfortable for nine nights! Wifi reception satisfied even my tech-type bunch and the tv had all the stuff, movies, netflix, etc. You can be anywhere in the island very quickly from Savaneta and we went everywhere. Trust me, we went all over the place! And finally, I found the owners so easy to deal with, they respond immediately to questions and there is an on island contact as well if you have any concerns. We would love to go back! Happy to answer any questions. Joan

5 stars! We truly enjoyed our stay in Aruba, the house was comfortable and clean. You definitely need a car everything is at a 15 min to 30 min driving distance. Mary-Elena had a guide book that gave us good and useful information about the area.

5 stars! - We absolutely LOVED the Old Aloe House! It was perfect for our family of four with two young kids. The house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay-Ample fresh and fluffy bath and beach towels, new clean sheets and lots of pillows, bath products and kitchen pots, pans and utensils (even a blender for pina coladas!) We could not have been happier with our stay. The house was also very close to great restaurants and beaches. Mari-Elena was extremely pleasant and very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here.

The house was cozy and ideally outfitted for a vacation stay. It is a cute typical old Aruban house with up to date interior. The living area and bedrooms are fitted with quiet split unit air conditioners. The kitchen is well equipped. The house was spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable. There is a large paved patio area where you can barbecue or just hang out in the nice breeze with a drink. It is within a 20 minute drive from the beaches at the west end of the island and about 10 minutes from Baby beach which is great for children since it shielded by a reef. With any luck, you will hear donkeys in the distance or a morning call of a rooster. Nice changes from an alarm clock. We highly recommend this property if you want to be a little away from βthe crowdsβ. It is in a totally safe area. You get a true feeling of Aruba.
